The Game

Fort Fantatstic is a group simulation in which 1 to 4 teams compete for the best organizational performance in maintaining operational availability of attractions in a fun park. A Fort Fantastic team consists of 6-9 players. In the multi team mode, teams compete by playing/acting in parallel under identical conditions. The competitive environment releases dynamic pressures and allows for a comparison of the different patterns of team behavior adopted being faced with unexpected challenges.

Fort Fantastic is about a popular theme park in the heart of the Chooseland. Established in 1994 it attracts more than a million visitors every year. Each theme park consists of 14 attractions with different appeal levels as well as variable and fixed costs. If the financial situation is feasible 5 additional attractions can be bought to increase the overall appeal of the park. The park is operating in the summer season from April to September 7 days a week with opening hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to take on the management tasks at the theme park.
