Requirements

The standard configuration of FortFantastic is a setup of three 3 computers linked by a peer-to-peer network (IP). On each system a JAVA application has to be started. The instructor needs to enter the IP addresses under which the 2 remote systems can be reached. All systems require a minimum display resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. If a laptop is used to run the instructor mode, optionally (by enlarging the windows desktop on two monitors) a beamer can be used to display the dashboard.

Since separating the teams in different rooms is often a substantial burden on the vibe of the game, a room which comfortably hosts all participants is favorable. However, due to the fact that FortFantastic distinguishes distinct roles it it suggested to clearly separate the players of each roles as shown in the team arrangement plan below in order to prevent them from grouping around the monitor and play by the ear.
